John Epstein
President
John Epstein is an eye surgeon by day where he is a partner at the Princeton Eye Group and the President of the Surgery Center of Central NJ. A lifelong guitarist/musician/music lover, by night, he co-owns and teaches at the Somerville School of Rock and owns and runs a small, live music venue called the Rock Shack which hosts hundreds of original artists from the local, national and even international talent pool. He co-wrote and recorded an album, Finding Your Way, with an original band, Project One, and is the founder of Music Out Loud. His wife, an environmental engineer, and he have two adult children, both of whom are very musically talented. The second child, Mad Jupiter, is a professional musician and producer. John’s motivation behind creating Music Out Loud was to help lower the financial barrier for those wishing to create and spread the joy of music to the world.
Maha Kabbash
Vice President
Maha M. Kabbash is the Partner-in-Charge of the Morristown, NJ office of Tucker Ellis LLP, an 11-office national law firm. Her law practice focuses on the defense of pharmaceutical, medical device and life sciences companies in high volume product liability litigation. She is also a devoted “rocker mom” of two who have been School of Rock students since 2018. Her daughter graduated School of Rock’s House Band and performance program as a vocalist and bass player, and is currently pursuing university studies in recording industry and music business in Syracuse University’s Bandier Program. Her son is a drummer in School of Rock’s House Band, seasonal program and has just completed his first tour in School of Rock’s highly selective AllStar Program. Having experienced what a tremendous impact musical performance has had on her kids, Maha is thrilled to have this opportunity to serve an organization that supports live music and musicians.

Steve Shueh is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Roundview Capital. Outside of work, he enjoys supporting organizations like Music Out Loud that help build community, promote education, and foster cultural vibrancy.
